Bill's obituary

William "Bill" Manto, age 72, passed away on April 13, 2025, surrounded by his wife and children. Born on October 29, 1952, in Michigan, he lived a full and devoted life surrounded by family and the outdoors.

Bill was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He had a deep love for the outdoors. He had cherished moments hunting, fishing, and weekends spent at his cottage up north. These peaceful moments surrounded by nature were among his most cherished. A devoted sports enthusiast, Bill had a special love for hockey. Some of his proudest moments were spent at the rink, watching his sons play and cheering them on. Yet nothing brought him more happiness than spending time with his grandchildren. Whether sharing stories, teaching them about hunting and fishing, or simply enjoying their company, Bill cherished every moment with them

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Karen Manto; his children, Billy Manto and his wife Aleona, Jeanette Bacci and her husband John Bacci, Chris Manto, and Joe Manto; and his grandchildren Beau Bacci, Jack Bacci, Lev Manto, and Josephine Bacci. He also leaves behind his brother John Manto and sister Angela Nowicki.

Bill was preceded in death by his brother Nick Manto and his parents, William and Josephine Manto.

May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
