So sorry to hear about the passing of my old friend Widdy. We first met at Roosevelt Elementary School in third grade where he and Kelly Drake were like two peas in a pod, always together.
I remember racing across Gandy Bridge, him in one car and I in another...I won!
I remember Widdy dancing at my wedding at the Garden Club on Bayshore...I remember Widdy, full of fun and life, a kind and giving Widdy who will be remembered by all. May he rest in peace for eternity in the loving arms of our Lord.

We are so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. Your grandfather Tom and Brad's father were great friends and that was how Widdy came into our lives. When we were young adults we had some good times when you all lived on Tambay in Tampa. Out of the blue he called about a couple of years ago..Had a wonderful conversation about our lives and family. We used to hang out occasionally, Widdy and I and other guys that had motorcycles, and we would ride all over. Picnic, Handy, Weadon Island.
We were out by the Davis Island Yacht Club, and I did a stunt that went wrong. Long story short, Widdy drove my wrecked bike, with me on the back, skin hanging off of my hands, dripping blood and road rash like I'd never had before. I really appreciated Widdy helping me out that day, that's the kind of guy he was.
We had some great times!
I was glad to see Widdy at the Meet and Greet of our last class of 73 reunion, and at the last STS, where he, I , and Thomas Bracewell were videoed 'tres amigos' singing with the band.
I'd like to have that video.

I was fortunate to know Widdy when he worked for Daikin Applied in Boise. I was based out of Phoenix, and, unfortunately, I never had the opportunity to meet Widdy, but I spoke with him many times. He was always very helpful, very friendly and always willing to go the extra mile. When I spoke to Widdy's Customers they always had very positive things to say about Widdy. When he left Boise to move to Tampa, it left a hole in for us in Boise, he was one of those people that always took care of business. RIP Widdy

Widdy found my mom and totally stole her heart and our whole family. He was the best man I ever met. His love was so apparent and heartfelt. He was an awesome mentor to my son Jess, always encouraging. Widdy was inspiring and lived a vibrant life. I will always remember his talks about life and having little worries. I will miss him forever but never forget.
