Dear Diana, Nathan and Jeffery, we were so saddened to hear of Bill’s passing. We have many fond memories of Bill and of your family. May the Lord be with you and strengthen you and cause His face to shine on you.

I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your loved one so quickly.

He preached the Bible to everyone, and reached out to those who needed help in various ways. He was nice to everyone he met and no one was a stranger to him. He was a joyful person to be around, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

My thoughts and prayers are with you with you and your family during this time.

I’m so sorry to hear of Bill’s death. I did not know about the accident, and I am with my family in Maine on the day of his funeral. My sympathy to his family as you celebrate a remarkable life. When I worked with Bill at LCHS I observed his God-given ability to inspire his students. Bill’s memory will live on in his family and the thousands of lives he touched. I know that his family is supported by their knowledge that Bill is home and in a perfect life. I’m sorry that I cannot join in your celebration of this wonderful man today. Ed Hatrick
I'm so glad we were able to see Bill last summer. He's always meant to much to me and the beginnings of my spiritual journey with Christ and have tried over the years to connect with him from time to time. I have long, meaningful memories of sitting with a group in his (and Diana's) living room asking them to be our youth leaders at Leesburg Methodist. Our first retreats at Camp High Road. God speaking through Bill as he taught scripture, modeled prayer, grace, forgiveness. Singing scripture songs - acapella. The youth group baby shower we had for them. Preforming The Apostle with our group and the Leesburg Baptist group at Kings Dominion. Encountering the truth that God is real and Jesus is alive and the Holy Spirit is active. Memories of Bill & Diana leaving as youth leaders of ours at the church (insert intellectual & theological differences with a new pastor) and beginning YHI in my parents living room. Our first beach retreat to New Jersey - (Keith Green was killed that weekend in a plane crash). Memories of Fishnet Jesus festival in Front Royal, a Glad concert at the old Fireman's Field, returning from college to so a youth ministry intern with YHI. Bill taught and modeled so much. Was instrumental in giving me my "life verse" - Galatians 2:20. My life wouldn't be the same without him. He loved us well. Challenged us. Confronted us lovingly when needed (maybe that's just me but I challenged him with my teenage rebellion and he had some things to share with me about that). There are so many funny stories, good stories and I can imagine him worshipping Jesus with joy - completely whole. Rob and I will miss him. And I will always speak of him because he is a part of my testimony. Yes, he loved us well and we loved him.
I REJOICE with the Lee family for the celebration in heaven! I weep with you for your Great loss, knowing that joy comes in the morning! Looking back over about 40 years, I don't recall a time when Mr. and Mrs. Lee were not involved in the community in some way. My fondest memory was praying for them and the thrill of the Lord answering the prayer of expecting a baby! The joy Mr. and Mrs. Lee shared over the wonderful expectations of being parents was catching to everyone that knew them. Their beautiful love of investing in the lives of children through the leading of the Holy Spirit made an impact in our County that could not be denied. May the Lord's healing love and comfort be upon all of those that loved Bill Lee and his amazing family in Jesus Name Amen!

Even grown I always think of Mr. and Mrs. Lee and not Bill and Diana. They are my mentors in Jesus Christ. Through the Your House, Inc. Ministry I was introduced to the LORD in a way that changed my entire life from "natural" to eternity. I know they struggled during those years but they were obedient to the call of Christ's Great Commission. I am the beneficiary of their witness. I pray Mr. Lee receives a great reward for the faithfulness of his service to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. What a deserving man of GOD. His legacy and the seeds of his witness will live on through many of us he touched. See you in glory Mr. Lee. Love and gratefulness always. Anita (Bush) Helm
I am so very sorry for your loss. I met Bill on a trip to Israel in 2013 on Richard Hellman’s MERCL/CIPAC trip. He was such a sweet, gentle soul and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know him. I made a point to sit w him at a meal and asked about his family. He spoke with such love and pride for all of you. I don’t need to tell you what a special man he was, you could write a book about it. It was a pleasure for me to walk through the holy land with him, and I will always have fond memories of him. Again, my deepest condolences. Deborah Baker, Whittier, California.

Jeff,

I am grieving with you and your family brother. Thankful that we have a savior who saved your father from this fallen world, and prepared him for an eternity where he will walk before Him in the land of the living (Ps. 116:9). Praying that God comforts you through His Spirit, His Word, and His body through this.

In Christ,
Edward & Brittany Murray
I am so sorry for your loss. In the brief interactions I had with him, I knew Bill to be a good man with a life full of family, friends, and faith.

My hope is in time, the family will heal from this loss and be able to reflect on the fond memories and inspiration he gave us all.
We are praying for all of you dear Lee family as you grieve the passing of your dad! What a gentle, godly, loving servant he was! An example to all who were blessed to know him! I remember the day Ann Lee took me to “New Life for Girls” and asked me to pray out loud for the first time in my Christian life! May the legacy of service for the kingdom that Bill left, live on in each of our hearts!
So wish we could be there to celebrate his life but we have a family wedding at 4 the same day! Praying for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit over each heart and life as you gather! 🙏✝️❤️
I was so saddened to learn about Bill's passing. I hold very fond memories of our days of coaching the Royals together and our times of meeting for coffee and sharing faith talks. As I reflect on our time together, Bill was tremendously committed to the faith and helping others grow in their relationship with Christ. Diana, Nathan, Jeff and families, I pray that you can look upon all the good times you shared and that those memories will help you through this very difficult time. May the peace and love of God sustain you today and in the days to come.
Claudia and I are deeply saddened by the loss of our dear brother Bill.

We'll miss his prayers, encouragement, compassion, love, kindness and his always joyful smile. Bill was one of our favorite people.

He was a Shepard watching over the Lord’s sheep.

We'll pray for your lovely family during your/our huge loss.

He has now heard from our Lord, "Well done, good and faithful servant, you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the JOY of your Lord. Matt 25:21 NKJV
So sorry for your loss. Trusting our Lord and King to grant you and your family peace for today and bright hope of a new day. Peace and grace to you all.
I’m very sorry for the familiy’s loss. I attended YHI as a youth and got to know Bill through that. He was a blessing to many people. Thoughts and prayers go up for the family.
I am so saddened to read this obituary. Mr. Lee was a good band director and a kind person. My sincerest sympathy is extended to his sweet wife and family.
Mr. Lee was truly my biggest inspiration. He is one of the main reasons I held on to my love of music and chose to go back to school for a teaching degree in music. Sending up many prayers to his family and all who knew him.
Sending my deepest condolences. Mr. Lee had a profound impact on my life as one of his band students at LCHS. He will be sorely missed.

One of the great ones. I always enjoyed spending time with Bill, talking about technology, politics, faith. He was passionate and always encouraging. May God bless his family and those who depended so much on his skills and counsel.
