Will, you meant more to me than I think you ever realized. Your journey toward sobriety showed me that it was possible, it gave me hope. You were always there for me in my early days of recovery, never judging, always listening. Whether I needed to vent or just needed a shoulder to lean on, you were there.
Musically, you were nothing short of a genius. I remember back in high school thinking you’d be the greatest musician to ever come out of West Lauderdale…and I was right. You became a staple in the NOLA music scene, and I couldn’t have been prouder. The way you kept your wit and humor even through your darkest times spoke volumes about the kind of person you were.
I’ll forever cherish our friendship. You’ll forever be missed.
Love you, man.
