William's obituary
William (Bill) Lafayette Champion was Born December 15, 1930 in Chattanooga Tennessee and died June 25, 2021 while living in Peoria Arizona.
Bill was a Master Gunnery Sergeant in the Marines with over 25 years of service. He served valiantly in the Korean and Vietnam wars.
Bill was awarded a Korean Service Medal, UN Service Medal, Purple Heart Medal, National Defense Medal, Eight Good Conduct Medals
Bill was a Golden Gloves ranked boxer, a warrior and a gentleman. He was married to his beloved wife Darleen Marie Champion until she passed October 1, 2019
Bill had been a Master Freemason and Worshipful Master in the Scottish Rite and is sorely missed by his brothers.
