Dear Fiock family,

My two sisters and I - the three Moore girls from Cape Cod - were very sad to hear of your father’s passing. I hope word has reached you that there was a moment of silence in his honor at the awards dinner at Orleans Yacht Club for the DS NACs 2024.

Our father Bill loved your Dad. He loved competing against him. He loved fixing up borrowed boats for the NACs with him on their respective opposite coasts. He loved their shared history, shared knowledge, shared stories. Your father was a wonderfully kind man.

We kids were so lucky to have been raised by sailing parents and to have had so many unique and fun experiences with them. We remember you all fondly and wish you all the very best.
