William's obituary
Bill leaves behind his two daughters, Jaclyn M. Macomber and her husband Jason of Templeton, MA; Kristen Kelley of Windham, ME. Four beloved grandchildren, Aubrey K. McInnis, Andrew C. McInnis, Zoey L. Macomber and Quinn W. Macomber. His two sisters Carole McNutt and her husband Bobby of Litchfield, NH; Barbara Christopher and her husband Steve of Chelmsford, MA. His companion of over 20 years Iris Villegas of Fitchburg. As well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Richard Kelley of Wilmington, MA; parents Charles M. and Marilyn A. Kelley of Wilmington, MA; sister Nancy Little of Royal Palm Beach, FL.
Bill was born June 12, 1956 and spent most of his life in Wilmington, MA. He moved to Fitchburg six years ago to be closer to family. Cooking was his passion, he was always the guy to show up to an event with a tray of food. He was an active member of his community preparing food weekly for people in need. As cliché as it might seem he would have given the shirt off his back for anyone who needed him. He was an avid sports fan of just about anything from local baseball games to major league. He loved the warm months and enjoyed being in his garden, checking out a local fishing spot or swimming in his pool with his grandchildren. In the cooler months he enjoyed laying low with his dearly loved cat Mittens (Mitzy).
A memorial service and burial will be at Wildwood Cemetery (233 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington, MA) on Friday, June 12, 2020 at 11:00am. We invite everyone who loved and knew Bill to celebrate him on what would have been his 64th birthday with a reception to follow.
