Bill's obituary

William Joseph “Bill” Buck, Jr., age 82, passed away on July 15, 2025, in Glen Burnie, Maryland. Born on December 5, 1942, in Baltimore, Maryland, Bill lived a full and determined life marked by resilience, dedication, and a deep love for his family.

Throughout his life, Bill was known as a strong and persistent individual. His tenacity served him well in both his personal and professional endeavors. A respected businessman, he earned a reputation for his sharp instincts and unwavering work ethic—qualities that left a lasting impression on those who worked with him and knew him best.

Bill found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved fishing—he could spend hours casting a line from the shore. He also enjoyed shopping yard sales, always on the lookout for hidden treasures and good deals. At home, some of his favorite moments were spent watching television with his loyal dog curled up on his lap. His sense of humor and playful spirit often came through in the way he lovingly teased those closest to him—especially when it came to driving Nancy crazy.

Family was at the heart of Bill’s world. He is lovingly remembered by his daughters Sheri O’Donnell (and her husband Nathan), Jennifer Buck (and her fiancé Vince Angel), Brittany Stewart (and her husband Matthew), and Natalie Fefel (and her husband John). Bill was a proud grandfather to Shane, Shawn, Jordan, Gino, TJ, Matthew, Allison, Alaina, Cash, and Jackson. Each grandchild held a special place in his heart.

He was preceded in death by his beloved son Anthony “Tony” Buck, his brother Bobbie, and his parents.

Bill’s legacy lives on through the many lives he touched—with strength that inspired others and memories that will be cherished forever.

May his memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved him.
