William “Bill” James Greene passed away into the loving arms of Jesus on April 1, 2026, in Houston, Texas, at the age of 82. Bill was born August 16, 1943, in Akron, Ohio, to Glen Burnfiel and Emogene Greene. After graduating from high school in San Antonio, Texas, he went on to serve his country as a dental x-ray technician in the United States Navy. After relocating with his family to Houston, Texas in the early eighties, Bill pursued a career at Toshiba Corporation, which he dedicated himself for over 10 years. After a brief retirement, Bill returned to the workforce and joined the company Omron before finally retiring several years later.

Bill is survived by his loving family, including brother Glen Greene and sister Rebecca Greene; his son Michael and daughter-in-law Gloria Greene; his daughter Jennifer Greene; and his former spouse, Jean Bolton (mother of his children).

William is preceded in death by his parents, Glen Burnfiel and Emogene Greene; as well as his brother, John Greene.
