It is with great sadness we announce the passing of William James Bennett. On Tuesday November 9, 2021 William passed away. He was 83 years old.

Beloved husband and best friend of late Bernice Ruth Bennett.

Loving Father of Kim J. Bennett, Reginald Thomas, late Tonya R. Bennett and late Darryl Bennett.

William was born on October 19, 1938 in Anson, NC. The second eldest of his siblings to Late Hattie Jane Royal and Late  Victor Bennett.

William attended and graduated from local schools in Boston,Ma. As a young man he learned to work hard and adapted different trades that benefited him in the future.

If you asked a hundred people who William James Bennett was, you would get a hundred different responses. A devoted Jehovah's Witness since 1956, a mentor, A business man, A man of Honor and integrity. But to William and his loved ones, His biggest role was that of a family man, father and adored Grandfather.

He will be sorely missed by his siblings, children: Kim and Reginald, Grandchildren: Keyette, Bernice, Travis, Natasha, Reginald, Trent, Raiden and Taquen. Great grand daughter: Sakoya. Great Great grand children: Aviana, Stormmy and Jiraiya. Numerous nieces, great nephews, cousins, extended family and close friends.

Although our hearts are heavy, we will celebrate his life and find comfort knowing that he is in Jehovah's care and we look forward to his resurrection. 

Funeral Services will be held via zoom at 12pm, Saturday, November 27. Officiating the service will be Brother Lecester McKenzie.
