Bill was one of the first nurses I worked with at VA back in 1998 on 1 South at HJH. Then later we worked together again for years on 9 West. He had a heart for caring for his fellow veterans, was famous for making coffee for everyone in the middle of the night. When we got the call that an admission was on the way he'd always say "We'll keep 'em and love 'em!". Such a hard worker, and a team player, always willing to pitch in and help whoever needed it. I think of him often...he is missed.
