Born on April 3, 1937, in Richmond, VA, he was the beloved son of Betty and Joseph Inman. Throughout his 87 years, William built a legacy of love, faith, and unwavering dedication to his family. For 53 blessed years, William shared a life of deep devotion with his wife, Maria Inman. Together, they created a bond rooted in faith and love that served as an inspiration to all who knew them. Their partnership was a living testament to the power of unity and grace. William was the proud father of three children: Cheryl (Thomas) Smith, Christopher (Elizabeth) Inman, and Joseph (Eileen) Inman. He found immense joy in watching them grow and build families of their own. As a grandfather and great-grandfather, William cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, offering them wisdom and unconditional love that will echo through generations. He is also lovingly remembered by his sister, Dolores (Robert) Johnson. Their enduring bond brought laughter and support throughout the years. A Mass in honor of William will be celebrated on January 17, 2025, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Charlotte, NC, beginning at 10:00 AM.
