My condolences to Bill's family. I first met Bill working together in Bremerton. He talked about his daughters and was always very peaceful and knowledgable in his field. I appreciated that he was helpful and kind and a lover of Jesus. 

Bless and comfort to your family and I’m sorry to hear of his passing and often hoped our paths would cross again. We lose and an awesome human and Heaven received an Angel.  

We first met Bill about 23 years ago when West Sound Technology Association was getting its start. Since that time, he almost never missed a monthly meeting, SIG, or related event, always there to support, encourage, and grow the movement on behalf of technology professionals and users as a leader and then - board member. He carried that dedication forward into West Sound CoderDojo as a founding member and mentor, helping thousands in our community learn to code and lobbying for policies in Washington State and our nation's capital. Every weekend throughout the school year, and eventually every other weekend, Bill was ever-present and a tremendous giver. 

Well beyond that, he became family to us - attending baby showers, concerts, luncheons, personal events, celebrating birthdays and holidays together. Words will never be able to express how much we love Bill, and how dearly we will miss him. Our deepest and heartfelt condolences to his surviving family members. May you find joy and peace in the beautiful memories created with such a wonderful human, and continue his legacy through your best lives.
