Bill's obituary
A memorial service will be held on June 12th, 2021 at Moundville Methodist Church at 10 a.m. in the morning with Reverend Dr. Jennifer Gregory officiating .
William Holt Gregory “Bill” , was born in Selma AL to Chester Eugene Gregory Sr. and Lovie Gay Strickland Gregory on November 26th, 1961.
He worked at Golden Flake Snack Foods for 11 years before purchasing his route and becoming self employed .
He is preceded in death by his father , Chester Eugene Gregory Sr, his mother Lovie Gay Strickland Gregory , his brother Ronald Gregory , his sister, Ann Long, his son in law James Gossett , and his Grand Daughter Emma Grace Gregory .
He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 28 years , Melia Gregory . Brothers Chester Gregory Jr. ( Jennifer) , Tommy Gregory . Sister Jean Lamkin . His three daughters , Kelly Gregory (Brandon) , Brandi Bolton , and Amy Bolton . His Son , Patrick Gregory ( Ashleigh ) . Ten Grandchildren , Blake Gregory , Alexus Barger , Dallas Vaught, Christian Gregory , Bella Gossett, Izzie Gossett , Judson Gossett , Kylie Gregory, Kennedy Gregory , and Hallie Kate Nail . One Great Granddaughter Alex Waller.
“Bill” as he is lovingly called , was a devoted family man . His greatest joys were found in spending time with his family , camping , road trips with his best friend/wife Melia , beach trips and long conversations on the back porch with friends .
“Bill “ was a very hard working dedicated individual . He put his heart and soul into everything he did . Being a Dad , Grand Dad , Husband , Friend , and worker . He was one of the easiest people to have a conversation with and he cared about everyone . He never met a stranger . One of the most giving people you would ever meet .

“ Always pray to have eyes that see the best in people , a heart that forgives the worst , a mind that forgets the bad, and a soul that never loses faith in God .”
