William "Bill" Holsinger, 86, of Castle Pines, passed away on July 06, 2022.

Bill was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in 1936 to George and Zeretta Holsinger. After growing up in Cedar Rapids, Bill attended Iowa State University where he was a member of Delta Upsilon Fraternity and the ROTC. Upon graduating from Iowa State University Bill worked for General Electric Corporation and during that time served as an officer in the United States Army. In 1963 Bill started a new position with Eli Lilly and Company (Lilly) in Indianapolis where he was employed for a total of 29 years. During his career with Lilly, Bill worked as a financial executive including as Treasurer of Elizabeth Arden in New York City. Intent on providing for his family, Bill's career was the focus of his life. During retirement, Bill spent time volunteering his financial skills at the Indianapolis Zoo and Marie Selby Botanical Gardens in Sarasota, Florida. Recently, Bill enjoyed his two parakeets and growing African violets.

He was predeceased by his parents, his sister, Patricia Meyer (Leo), his daughter, Debra Holsinger, and his son, Jeffery Holsinger (Melanie). He is survived by his daughter, Cheryl McEachran, his sons, Scott Holsinger (Bernie), Tracy Holsinger (Mary), and Steven Holsinger, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. There will be a celebration of life on August 4, 2022 at 5:30pm at the Foothills Art Center in Golden, CO. Donations may be made in memory of William G. Holsinger to the National Audubon Society or a nonprofit organization of your choice.
