William Tyrone "Ty", son of Jennifer Whitfield was born on June 24, 1969 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. His family moved to Washington, DC when he was a young age with his sister. He attended DC Public Schools and was advert swimmer and was honored to be a lifeguard at local recreational summer swimming camp parks.
He also enjoyed begin the one and only quarterback with his peers. His favorite sport was football and favorite NFL teams.

His life will be cherished of his children Najala Hatton, Paige Hatton and Brooke Hatton all of Alexandria, Virginia. He leaves two sisters Mykell S. Ramos, Baltimore, Maryland along with devoted big sister Starr L. Hatton 100% as well as she looked out for her big brother 100% who "somehow always worked her nerves."

Left behind to cherish his memories are four aunts; Constance Dennis (Penny) of Providence, Rhode Island, Fernette Shelton of South Carolina, and Jamila Dennis of South, Carolina.
