William's obituary

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. William Cecil Hardee. Born on September 21, 1975, William's journey on this earth ended on March 30, 2021. He was a man whose life was filled with boundless love, devoted workmanship, and inspiring wisdom.

A true patriarch, William leaves behind a large and loving family. His daughters, Lyric Parks (Bradley Sessoms), Telithia Parks, Tanquisha Cannon, Iesha Hardee, and Jaslynn Rhem (Qwyshon Rhem) and his sons, William Parks (Shaniqua Parks) and Jaron Sutton survive him. Each child was a treasured gift in William's life and their respective births are regarded as some of his greatest accomplishments. His love for his family extended to the next generation as well, with the welcoming of his grandchildren Josiah Rhem, Adelynn Rhem, Alayna Rhem, Elise Parks, Mason Parks,  Keith Hart, Bella McLaughlin Wicks, Wynter McLaughlin Wicks, Bishop McLaughlin Wicks, Victoria Cannon, Aubrey Stephens , Carter Sutton, Noah Sutton, Mayson Sutton and Masiah Sutton.

William's passion was palpable in his devotion to his craft. With an innate touch, he expertly worked on cars, specifically low-riders, alongside his brother, Frank. These car projects were not just a hobby, but a testament to the work of his hands and the joy he found in his work.

A man of many qualities, William was best remembered as a warm, kind-hearted, thoughtful and charismatic individual. His spirit was infectious and his advice, encapsulated in the phrase "keep your nose in those books," will continue to guide his loved ones.

His legacy endures in the mechanic shop he owned with his eldest brother, Frank. A testament to his hard work and dedication, the shop will stand as a reminder of the man who shaped it.

Mr. Hardee's absence will be deeply felt by his children, family, friends, associates, customers and the cars he cherished and nurtured. We mourn the loss of a truly wonderful man, but know that his influence and love touch us still. His memory lives on every time a car leaves his shop, every time his family gathers, and every time his wisdom guides us. William Cecil Hardee will be missed, but his legacy will never be forgotten.
