I was fortunate to get to work with Bill for four years, and to become his friend over that time.  I learned a lot from Bill, and more importantly, really enjoyed being around him as we helped grow the company and each other.  He challenged me with his big ideas, and I challenged him to put those big ideas into action.  And I saw him have a similar impact on so many of his co-workers.

It truly was a fun and unique work relationship for me.  So much so, that we stayed in touch via "quarterly meetings" after we went to different companies.  I will miss those meetings and I will miss Bill.

Bill was an amazing friend, coach, and colleague.  He helped me see other perspectives and build stronger relationships with others. 

Bill really loved his kids and it showed every day.  I used to love hearing stories about his kids and how they were doing in school.  He always seemed to be planning some gourmet meal for dinner that the kids weren’t interested in (regrettably, he never brought leftovers to work).

I really miss my friend.  His loss is a harsh reminder to remember what’s truly important and cherish the ones we love.

To Bill’s family, thank you for sharing your loved one with us.  He left an amazing legacy which impacted peoples’ lives for the better.  God bless you all.
