Bill was the kindest person I ever met...selfless to a fault. That being said, he wasn't one for pomp and circumstance and didn't believe in organized religion or what we would call the "funeral industrial complex" that makes money off people's deaths. He didn't want a service, and he wanted to donate his body to science, but could not because of his illness. He will be honored privately by the people who loved him.
