Born in Wellesley, MA, Bill attended Wellesley High School and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Ithaca College in upstate NY, where he played soccer and football. His favorite hobbies were taking out family and friends on his “Work Boat” to pull lobster traps, skiing with his children throughout their lives, and making sushi for anyone who would take a seat at his table.
Bill was an active member of his church in Essex, the First Congregational Church of Essex, and was well-known in his town for his boating down the Essex River. Bill was also actively involved in the lives of his children, coaching several of their youth teams.
