William (Bill) E. Dickman, 88, of Crystal Lake, Illinois passed peacefully in his home on Monday April 17, 2023 surrounded by loved ones.

Beloved son of the late Charles and Ella Dickman (nee Hartley); devoted husband of 69 years to Valerie (nee Galdikas). Loving father of Deborah (Gregory) Poliakon, William Jr. (Beverly), Daniel (Monica), Cynthia (Paul) Anderson, and Kimberly.

Cherished grandfather to 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Dearest brother of the late Loretta (late John) Pavlik, late Helen (late Walter) Joyce, late Charles (Delores) Dickman,  late Roger (late Veronica/Bonnie) and late Walter (late Corinne, late Cathy) Dickman.  Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Bill spent many years working in the stockyards of Chicago, IL maintaining refrigeration. He enjoyed spending his time tinkering in his garage repairing small engines and spending time with family and friends. He also had a love for time and over the years has collected many clocks and watches. He enjoyed antiques and always the sound of music.

His beautiful blue eyes, smile and laugh will be missed by us all.
