Obituary

Dr William Dewey Burns, Jr. passed away peacefully in the early hours at his residence in Ogden Utah on Tuesday, February 6, 2024. Bill was 79 years old. Children, grandchildren, and dear friends survive him.

William was born in Oklahoma City. His childhood years were in Dallas, Texas. He relocated to Salt Lake City to attend the University of Utah. He served a proselytizing mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in …

Personal note from William's Granddaughter: Melissa

I don't have a lot of memories of Grandpa. I remember family photos in his basement, epic water gun fights, and being the flower girl at one of his weddings. But the memory that always comes first and sticks out in my mind when I think of him, is his rock collection. I still have the rock that he let me pick out from his collection. Rest in Peace, Grandpa and I am grateful for your legacy.
