Bill Cope was one of the finest men I have had the privilege of knowing. He was a second dad to me. I began working for Bill at Cope's Pharmacy during my Seventh grade year. He introduced me to medicine and for that I will be forever grateful. One story is I would clean the Pharmacy on Wednesday nights. At times he would sneak in and scare me as I was listening to Theatre of the Mind on KVI radio...lol. One summer, my mom and dad divorced. Karen, my sister, and I did not have a place to live during the summer. He and Shirley allowed Karen and I to live rent free above the Pharmacy for the summer. Over the years I have continued to stay in touch with him. I always reminded him of his importance in my life and that I loved him. I will miss you Bill Cope.

Bill Cope my second dad, you are the greatest man in the world, I will miss the wonderful and great times that me and you had. We had a lot of discussions about sports and our favorite colleges. I will very much miss those discussions and I now am very sad for the loss of your wonderful heart! You are my second father and the grieving process will last til the day I am not around anymore, I want to thank you for everything including letting me marry your daughter. There will not be a day that I won't think about you, you will be very much missed and I loved you with all my heart!!!! Again, thank you for everything and you'll always be looking down on us. There's only one person in the world that I would ever say GO COUGS too and your are it.. with all my love, Tim Sternod your long time son in law/son!!!!!
