William (“Cy”) Clayton Kauffman died at home in Yachats, Oregon on November 4, 2021, after a brief illness. He was born on January 8, 1935, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, the only child of William Sylvester Kauffman and Mabel Elizabeth (née Dettling) Kauffman. He is survived by his first wife, Lan (née Pham Thi Sam) Kauffman and their three children (John, Suzanne, and Jeff), seven grandchildren (Alice, Katie, JC, Nick, Sebastian, Ethan, and Mirabelle), and two great-grandchildren …
