Cole's obituary
William Cole Richards, age 22, passed away on July 25, 2025. Born on February 4, 2003, Cole lived boldly and beautifully — a free spirit with a contagious laugh and a heart full of creativity. He lived his life full of humor and adventure, and had an unmistakable spark that made every moment with him unforgettable.
Cole was the beloved son of Heather and Marvin Dewayne Richards, and the proud older brother of Cade Richards. He was the treasured grandson of Lynn and Mike Hardin, and Frank and Susan Cole, all of whom nurtured and celebrated his vibrant soul.
A true artist at heart, Cole found joy in self-expression. He loved creating art, and his appreciation for tattoos and piercings was more than aesthetic — it was a reflection of his individuality and fearless authenticity. His creativity flowed through everything he did, from the way he dressed to the way he saw the world.
He was quick to make others laugh, often with a clever joke or playful tease, and his laughter — full and infectious — became a soundtrack to the lives of those who loved him. Cole lived fully, loved deeply, and left behind a legacy of joy, originality, and connection.
Though his time with us was far too short, his spirit will live on in every memory shared. He will be missed beyond measure and remembered with endless love.
A private service will be held by the family to honor Cole's life.
