Richards Family, my sincere condolences. Losing someone you love is never easy, and it’s even harder when their life feels cut short.

The Bible gives us real comfort at John 11:11, Jesus compares death to a peaceful sleep, and Jehovah promises to wake our loved ones again. Acts 24:15 reminds us of that beautiful hope of the resurrection. May this hope give you comfort and strength as you look forward to seeing William again.

I want to offer my condolences to Dewayne, Heather and all of the family.  I wish you peace and comfort during this unimaginably difficult time.

I went to school with cole for over a decade. We became very close summer 2024 and we had the best of times. He was there for me through loss and any bad day that came my way. He was one of the funniest and most caring people I ever met. I will forever miss you sweet Coligga❤️

Cole and I initially started our friendship based on tattoos and he quickly became one of my best friends. We would talk for hours about our shared interests in music and Cole’s deep passion for art. One of my favorite memories of all time was when Cole and I went back to Indianapolis to get his hand tattoo reworked; he was so nervous about how bad it was going to hurt and I joked “I’ll hold your other hand through this one brother.” And that’s exactly what I did. It was meant as a joke at the time but Cole was there to do the exact same thing for me when I needed him to. There to make one of his absolute gut-busting jokes, to bring enough energy to fill a house, to be an amazing friend. Cole will be missed by so many people, and I hope he’s found his peace now. I love you brother

Cade’s birthday party that was on my birthday, I had just gotten my first phone ever and wanted to take a picture with my first ever best friend. I walked to his house, I stayed the night that night. It was Cade’s birthday party, he still gave me my own party size bag of Doritos when we slept upstairs and let me play his Xbox as a present.

Cole was one of the first friends i made in our class at NALTC and he always knew how to get someone in a good mood, always super supportive of anything we were struggling with and would give his best advice on how to tackle obstacles. We took a trip to Pigeon forge towards the end of school and it was one of the best trips ive ever made. Rest easy brother, you will be missed.

I wish I had taken a picture the last time we were together. He came to St. Petersburg, FL on May 3rd because he was in the area with his grandparents. We went to a comic book store and a sports bar just to catch up. If I had known that was the last time I’d see my best friend in person, I would’ve captured those moments. I can’t even begin to imagine the feeling of loss felt by Cole’s family.
Cole had a bigger than life personality, as soon as you saw him, you knew you would have the time of your life. Whether it’s him cracking a joke or doing something to get a laugh out of the others in the room. Gonna miss that man. May he continue to watch over his brother and his parents who are just the best people you know
My condolences to Cole's family. I first met Cole when [ he was born he was my second nephew I was so proud to be the young aunt I’m gonna miss you so much 😭] and we would often [talk about tattoos our love of music and family spent most of my life around him I’m really gonna miss you Cole love your aunt Lauren hold my son for me 😭 ].
