This is not a work related story. Thank you for to those who created this for Bill.
I first met Bill as a baby. He was a friend of my father’s. I had not seen Bill in many years myself, but he and my dad kept in touch.
Bill, your love of chess, the Beatles, denim and peace will be fondly remembered by our family.
We are so sad to learn of your passing. Especially in this way.
Rest In Peace, Bill, and Fly high! 💕

In loving memory of William, a cherished colleague and mentor whose presence touched the lives of many. William was more than a colleague; he was a guiding light, the first person I met when I embarked on my journey with Out of the Cold back before a pandemic. His unwavering dedication to our shelter programs and his compassionate approach to those in crisis left an lasting mark on all who knew him.
William had a remarkable ability to bring calm to any situation, a true beacon of tranquility amidst the chaos. His gentle demeanor and willingness to approach anyone in need exemplified the depth of his empathy and the sincerity of his character. He not only led by example but also inspired those around him to emulate his kindness and compassion.
Beyond his professional contributions, William played a pivotal role in shaping my career trajectory. His being there day in day out showed me that by being yourself, was all of the support and encouragement I needed to grow and continue in my role. I am forever grateful for his stories, his patience, and being unflappable and outspoken in the face of adversity.
Though William may no longer be with us, his spirit lives on in the hearts of those he touched in hs compassion, integrity, and selflessness. It will continue to inspire us as we exemplify his mission of making an impact in the lives of others--simply put, he was the better human.
Rest in peace, William. You will be deeply missed. - Justin
