William Eugene Burton, 44, died at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Loius Missouri on March 24, 2021 from septic shock. He was born in Dexter, Missouri on August 15, 1976 to the late Karen [Burton] Milligan and the late Larry Goodson. William lived most of his life in Sikeston, Mo until August 2016 when he moved to Dexter, Mo where he resided at the time of his death. William was disabled at an early age and did not have any employment through his life. He was divorced but had two children from his marriage a daughter Erika and a son Caleb. Besides his mother and father william is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Rex Goodson and Louis Malone his maternal grandfather William E. Burton and his cousin Todd Markland. Besides his two children he is survived by two sisters, Susan Keown of Sikeston Mo, and Maleasha Burton of Dexter Mo. Three Neices Julie Goodson of East Prairie, Mo, Katie Burton and Karie Burton who lived in the home with william in Dexter. One nephew, Jessie Keown, of Sikeston, Mo. One granddaughter and maternal grandmother Dorothy Burton of Sikeston, Mo. The family plans to have a celebration of life for william on April 24, 2021 at the sports complex in Sikeston , Mo at 1pm.
