Billy's obituary

William P. Bradford Jr., lovingly known as "Billy" or "Will," passed away on February 15, 2026, in Plymouth, Massachusetts, at the age of 47. Born on September 6, 1978, in Framingham, Massachusetts, Billy brought a unique light into the world that touched everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Billy earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Framingham State University and pursued his passion for connecting with others by working at a radio station early in his career. This role allowed him to live out his dream of being part of the communications world. However, Billy’s heart led him to dedicate much of his life to community outreach programs, where he worked tirelessly to care for the less fortunate and individuals with disabilities. His compassion and commitment to helping others left an indelible mark on countless lives.

Billy had a deep love for music, particularly classic and alternative rock. He was a striving guitarist who was delighted in learning and playing his favorite songs. His musical talents extended beyond the guitar—he was also a spirited singer who shone brightly during karaoke nights, where his energy and enthusiasm were unmatched. Music was not just a hobby for Billy; it was a way he connected with others and expressed himself.

Those who knew Billy will remember his larger-than-life personality and unforgettable presence. His loud, infectious laugh could fill any room with joy, and his endless stream of jokes—especially his infamous fart jokes—brought smiles to all around him. Beneath his humor was a deeply soft-hearted man who saw the good in everyone he met. Billy’s forgiving nature and boundless understanding made him one of the most loving souls imaginable.

Billy’s kindness extended not only to people but also to animals, reflecting his gentle spirit and unwavering empathy. He often felt as though he didn’t quite fit in, but those who knew him recognized the undeniable impact he had wherever he went. His energy was both powerful and disarming—a rare combination that made everyone feel seen and valued.

Billy is survived by his devoted parents, William Bradford Sr. and Bonnie Bradford, his grandfather Jim Peters, as well as a large family of close aunts, uncles, and cousins who cherished him deeply. He was predeceased by his beloved grandmothers, Dorothy Peters and Norma Sullivan and his grandfather Dana Bradford.

Billy’s legacy is one of love, laughter, music, and compassion. He made the world brighter simply by being himself—a man whose goodness inspired those around him to be better. May we all carry forward the lessons he taught us through his actions: to forgive freely, love deeply, laugh loudly, and care for those in need.

Though our hearts ache at Billy’s passing, we take comfort in imagining him somewhere more beautiful now—spreading his goodness as only he could. May his memory bring solace to all who knew him and inspire us to live with the same warmth and generosity that defined his life. A Wake will be held on February 25, 2026, from 04:00 PM to 07:00 PM at John C Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Rd #2, Wayland, MA . A Funeral will be held on February 26, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
