William's obituary

In Loving Memory of William Eugene Boyer

October 1, 1935 – January 22, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William Eugene Boyer, known to many as "Bill," who departed this world on January 22, 2024, at the age of 88. Bill leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished moments that will forever be engraved in the hearts of those who knew him.

Born on October 1, 1935, in South Bend, Indiana, Bill was the cherished son of Howard and Alice Boyer. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his siblings Rebecca McCarthy, Barbara Watts, and Robert Boyer. Bill is survived by his sister Brenda.

Bill married the love of his life, Pauline Boyer, on June 5, 1959, in California, where they met and began their incredible journey together. Their union was a source of joy, strength, and unwavering companionship for over six decades. Together, they built a life filled with love, shared adventures, and countless cherished memories.

A successful business owner, Bill found joy in his work and took pride in his accomplishments. He had a passion for sports, particularly golf, where he found solace and camaraderie on the greens. Bill's enthusiasm for life and his infectious laughter brightened the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

After a successful career, Bill and Pauline retired to the beautiful landscapes of Arizona, where they enjoyed the serenity of their golden years. Bill's greatest joy was traveling alongside his beloved Pauline, exploring the world together and creating a tapestry of memories that will forever be cherished by those who shared in their adventures.

Bill is survived by his children, Robert Paul Boyer, and Susan Marie Babineau, along with his grandchildren, Dennis Babineau II, Kelly Minick (Sam Minick), Steven Babineau, Mark Babineau, Jennifer Boyer, and Matthew Boyer, as well as his great-grandchildren Charlie Eserner and William Minick.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Toys for Tots South Tucson in Bill's honor.

As we bid farewell to Bill, let us remember the joy, love, and warmth he brought into our lives. May he rest in eternal peace, reunited with those who preceded him in death. The memory of Bill's laughter and the love he shared will forever echo in our hearts.
