William "Bill"'s obituary

William 'Bill' Scott Keith, a treasured husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on January 13, 2024, just two days following his 60th birthday. Born in Hammond, Indiana, on January 11, 1964, to George Ramsey and Margaret Juanita Keith, Bill was the beloved youngest sibling to Mike Zuehlke, Pat Zuehlke, and Dan Keith. Surviving him are his brothers Mike Zuehlke and Dan Keith.

Bill met the love of his life, Lori (Staab) Keith, at Bethel Church, and they wed in June 1989. Residing in Saint John, Indiana, they raised their four children Chelsea Zajac, Josh Keith, Hannah Magdaleno, and Ellie DeLange. Bill also embraced his role as a doting grandfather to Kacey Keith, Zeke Zajac, Lennox Keith, Zoe Zajac, Fletcher Keith, and Silas DeLange.

Bill graduated from Lake Central High School in 1982. After graduation, Bill's adventurous spirit took him to Texas, Guatemala, and Manchester, England, for missions work with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). His construction skills, learned from his parents, later steered his career path, such as starting Tri-Star Remodeling with his brother Dan. His academic achievements led him to Indiana University Northwest, where he completed a degree in Business with a minor in Marketing.

Bill's professional journey included various roles, such as positions at Gainer Bank and the Wedgewood stock brokerage firm in Crown Point around 1993. He eventually returned to Tri-Star Remodeling, prioritizing family time and demonstrating his belief in innovative thinking and problem-solving. Bill founded Sunrise Solar in 2003, working closely with his wife Lori, son Josh, and brother Dan.

Bill looked to God for wisdom to lead and guide his steps. His faith allowed him to live a life reflecting Jesus, leaving a profound spiritual impact on those who knew him.

We warmly invite those whose lives were touched by Bill to the memorial service on February 10, 2024, at Village Church Dyer. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by the service at 11:00 AM.

As we mourn Bill's passing, we also celebrate his remarkable life, filled with love, adventure, faith, and enduring impact. Rest in peace, Bill. You will be dearly missed, but your legacy will continue to thrive in the hearts of all who had the honor of knowing you.
