I was so sorry to hear about William "Bill"'s passing. He was such a [ adjective ] and [ adjective ] person. I will always remember Bill when I worked on his little remodeling projects I always thought he had so much knowledge about construction and he always had high praise for my drywall finishing! He would say too me that I made his work look good!! He loved his family and friends we were all blessed to have him in our lives! I will miss him dearly but I will never forget his smile and laughter! My heart goes out to his wife Lori and his son and daughters and grandchildren!

@therealbillkeith started dating my sister Lori when I was 9 years old.  He never treated us like the annoying little sister who were always hanging on him and under foot.  He was fun and kind and always listened and took interest in what we were doing.  When they got married us little girls were in junior high and never missed a chance to go to Bill and Lori’s cause it was just 10 minutes away.  He was always finding fun things for us to do and embraced all our friends over the years that came to hit his sledding hill.  His door was always open and he cared.  Truly cared.  He took the time to get each and every person that crossed his path and accepted and loved people for who they were.  When my oldest graduated high school, I had just moved into a new home and  was trying to get it all ready to host a graduation open house and he came down and spent the entire week doing projects around the house, made multiple trips to Lowe’s and Home Depot and hardly even got to spend time with him because he wanted to serve and help and he did just that.  Gabbi’s open house went perfectly.  I could go to him for advice or just to talk through a problem.  He called me his “hootie owl buddy” because neither of us were good sleepers and very much over thinkers and so he suggested we stay up and compete in Solitaire and he always beat my time and next thing ya know it’s 3am.  He was calming and always present when you needed him.  He was a man you could count on and his word was golden.  If he committed to something he showed up with bells on and you could count on everything he did to be perfection.  He never cut corners and was an amazing mentor and teacher.  But most importantly he loved my sister so beautifully and his children are all gonna carry on his legacy.  So thankful to have a piece of him in all of them.  We miss you, Billness and cannot wait to see you again.

Bill was great friend. Always willing to help even though he had so much going on. I remember him being a good spirt whenever Id see him.

Last fall our house had a roof leak. I called Bill only to ask for advice. He freely offered to go to the house, climb on the roof and see what he could do.

Now when I look up at the ceiling I think of Bill up there, but much higher now in heaven. Your Brother and Sister in Christ, Brian and Sherry.

My Dad went on my school field trip with me to the Indiana dunes. At the end of the trip we got to eat our packed lunch on the deck. My Dad realized he had no sweets in his lunch that he probably packed. He yelled out “hey who has cookies they want to trade for grapes”. One girl in my class said “ Mr. Keith we aren’t allowed to trade lunches at school”. My Dad said “well it doesn’t look like we’re at school does it”. He then proceeded to trade someone for a bag of grapes for oreos.
