Bill's obituary

William Palmer Bevis (Bill) of Superior Colorado, passed away peacefully at the age of 68 on December 9th, 2025 in Boulder, Colorado.

Bill was born June 24th, 1957 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Dr. William David Bevis and Dorothy Colleen Bevis. He graduated from Colorado State University with a BA in Fine Art and also held a masters degree in Architecture from the University of Colorado at Denver.

After meeting while both attending Colorado State University, Bill married Cynthia Lu Schrepferman of Denver, Colorado in 1985 and moved to California to begin careers and a family. Bill ran a graphic design firm while in the Bay Area before relocating to Colorado to pursue an education and career in architecture. Later in life, Bill began honing a new craft as a baker.

Bill was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. He had a passion for the arts and possessed a keen eye for design and artistic merits. He loved to explore new media and always found a method to express his vision in a number of ways, from graphic design, to drawing, wood working, and glass blowing. He was a deeply curious and intellectual person who was an avid reader and consumer of knowledge. Moreover, a compassionate and loyal friend who sought to be of support to those around him.

Bill is survived by his three children, John William (Benzir Shrestha) of Erie, Colorado, Charles Schrepferman (Alexandra Lau) of Lafayette, Colorado and Sally Ann Davey (Andrew) of Morrison, Colorado. Two granddaughters, Ria Lu Bevis and Jane Dorothy Davey. Three sisters Ann Malone (Dan), Susan Lopes (Josue) and Mary Shupe (JT) as well as many nieces and nephews.

Bill is preceded in death by his former wife of 16 years and mother of his children Cynthia Lu Schrepferman and his parents Dr. William David Bevis and Dorothy Colleen Bevis.
