William Edward Barnes, age 66, went gently into the good night on Aug 5, 2020.

His Daughter Robin Barnes, and his grandchildren Alyssa White, Josiah and Isabella Howard were all hanging out with him into the wee hours. He had me get him dressed, he called out "mom" , his mom , our grandma was welcoming him home. He told me he was going to die that night. I said when its your time its your time , I embraced him and began to pray, I prayed he would go softly into the night as he has asked for, I prayed for his soul to go to heaven, for his body and mind, I prayed for him , wept and told him I love him, kissed him goodnight and went to sleep next to him in a chair around 2:30 am.
At 10:24am I woke up said " Good morning Dad!" He didn't respond but I didn't think nothing, I said " You look uncomfortable, Ill straighten you up" He was warm and soft still, I pulled him up in the bed and normally he would say, wrinkle or left but he didn't respond. I called out dad, Dad.... DAD!! But no response. I watched his chest but didn't see it move, I felt as if he wasn't with me anymore. Called the nurse and she pronounced his passing a little after she arrived.

He had turned to his side and faced me, he had a smile on his face. I almost feel as if he kissed me goodbye when I woke up.

A Great Dad to Robin Barnes and Billy, William A Barnes.
A PopPop to Lorin Humbarger, Danielle White, Alyssa White, Josiah Howard and Isabella Howard.
A brother to Loretta Jukabas , Catherine Bianchi, Steven Barnes , and David Stacey who is with him now in heaven.
A Uncle to Alex, Timmy, Chris and Jaime Bianchi, and Stacy and Jason Jakubas
A son to William Edward Barnes and Helen Lorin Timmerman. ( Barnes/ Stacey) who both are in heaven with him as well.

I fought my hardest against lung cancer, but my time had come and my mom took me home peacefully Wed Aug 5, 2020. I am no longer in any pain, Ive got my full set of teeth and Im with my loved ones watching you all from heaven playing cards and Risk. Lol. I lived a good life and have no regrets. I encourage good reads such as "The diary of Ann Franks", and "The Green Mile" . One of my favorite jokes to pick someone up when they where hurt was ... "Does your face hurt ? Cause its killing me! Lol" Remember our good memories, and please try to be at peace as I am, for I will always be with you now, an angel in the sky, watching over you, being your guiding eye.
