William's obituary
Carlus was a great man of God and had an unwavering faith. He will be an honorary member of Mt Vale Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Thomas Bales and Bill Jones.
Carlus is survived by his wife Crystal Bales of Blaine, TN, sons Billy Bales (special friend Cassidy Joyner) of Logan, UT and Danny Bales of Beaufort, SC, daughters Emily Bales and Rebecca Bales both of the home, father and mother Bill and Edwina Bales of New Market, TN, grandmothers Alice Bales of New Market, TN and Mary Helen Helton of Seymour, TN, brother Dwight (Holly) Bales of Maynardville, TN, bruncle Joey (Amy) Jones of New Market, TN, father and mother-in-law Bobby and Nancy Day of Bean Station, TN, sister-in-law Teri (Jeff) May and brother-in-law Bobby (Stephanie) Day both of Rutledge, TN, 3 nephews Aaron May, Matthew White, and Blake Day and 8 nieces Kaitie May, Emery Bales, Alyssa May, Harper Bales, Blayne Bales, Cassandra Horne, Tanya Everett, and Jessica Baker, aunts, uncles, cousins and other loving relatives and friends, and a softball family who loved him very much.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday September 16 at Mt Vale Church of God, 1330 E Dumplin Valley Rd in Jefferson City, TN 37760. Visitation for friends will be from 5pm until 7pm and the service will follow. The family will have a private gathering from 4pm until 5pm. The Celebration of Life will be officiated by Pastor TH Ferrell. The Celebration of Life will be streamed live for any one who can not make it to the service.
