William's obituary

William “Bill” Arch Walker was born August 11, 1933, to Sherman Walker and Lucille Hassler Walker in Springfield Missouri. Bill grew up in Springfield and attended Springfield schools. On October 25, 1951, he married the love of his life, Betty Jane George, and they had three beautiful daughters together.

In 1959 Bill and his family relocated to Kansas City Missouri, after he secured a job with the Yellow Freight. After many years at Yellow Freight he retired and moved with his wife Betty to Wheatland Missouri. Bill was a 32nd Degree Mason and a Shriner.

Bill leaves three daughters:

Janice Omar (Waad) San Diego, California

Janet Mahler (Frank) Kansas City, Kansas

Cynthia Al-Ani (Kousay) Overland Park, Kansas

He also leaves eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren with one on the way, and one great, great grandchild. Two brothers Ronald Walker, San Diego, California, and Thomas Walker, Springfield, Missouri, and sister-in-law Paula Farr.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Sherman Walker and Lucille Hassler Walker, brother Robert Walker, Sister Betty Littleton, and his beloved wife Betty Jane George Walker.
