It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Downing, who passed away peacefully on January 22, 2024. Born on October 6, 1976, William touched many lives with his wit, generous spirit, and unyielding dedication to his loved ones.

William's caring and family-oriented nature extended beyond his immediate circle, touching the lives of many young men through his volunteer work at the Boys of Baltimore charity. His effervescent personality was infectious, filled with humor and a keen sense of wit that has left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

As a Baltimore native, William was an ardent supporter of the Baltimore Ravens, his passion for the team rivaled only by his love for fishing. An active man, he loved playing basketball, his chosen form of exercise, just as much as he relished the tranquility of being on the water with a fishing rod in hand.

William had an eclectic taste in movies, but 'Kill Bill' held a special place in his heart, just like his fondness for the color green. Many will remember him for his simple pleasures - a cold Pepsi at the end of a long day, a great movie, and the company of his dear family.

He leaves behind his beloved wife Lakeyta Downing, his precious daughters Keishona Downing, his dear mother Sharon Jones, and his brother Kevin Downing. His legacy will continue to live on through them, and he will be deeply missed by all the lives he touched.
