Willam's obituary

William Breakbill, age 80, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2023, surrounded by his family, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He was born on October 17, 1942, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to his parents, John and Elizabeth Breakbil.

William was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be forever remembered for his kind and generous heart, his love for his family and friends, and his unwavering faith in God. He was an honest and hardworking man who dedicated his life to providing for his family and serving his community with all his heart.

William grew up in Harrisburg, where he attended the local schools and graduated from Harrisburg High School in 1960. After high school, he went on to earn his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Penn State University.

William was a man of many talents and interests. He was an avid reader, sports enthusiast, and lover of the outdoors. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was also an active member of the Harrisburg community, where he served on several boards and committees.

William is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Barbara Breakbil, their four children, Sherri, Rick, John, and Michael, and his 12 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Sarah, and his brothers, Robert and Thomas.

William will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy will continue to live on through the memories he leaves behind. He was a man of integrity, honor, and compassion, who touched the lives of countless people. His family and friends take comfort in knowing that he is now in a better place, surrounded by God's love and grace.

A funeral service will be held in memory of William on May 15, 2023, at 11:00 am at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Harrisburg. Family and friends are welcome to attend to celebrate William's life and offer their condolences to the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of William Breakbill.
