I am so sorry to hear Bill’s departure. I send my deepest condolences to Lindsay and her family.

My sincerest condolences to the Martin & Hampson family for the loss of your beloved Will. I appreciate the opportunity to have worked with him at Blue Shield of California and I moved by his determination and passion for what he did at work and how he wanted to live his life to the fullest despite his situation. Having lost some extremely close friends to the same cause, I am happy to make a donation to the National Brain Tumor Society in honor of Will and in remembrance to my friends.

Will had tremendous industry insights and he was always ready to share/teach and help others. He offered to help sharing his insights and knowledge with Facebook Sales team and customers, and went above and beyond, traveling to NY even with a broken foot. He was always their for his friends, colleagues, and partners. I will dearly miss him, his positivity and smile and most importantly his friendship.

Will was what good leaders can make you feel, even when they didn't directly manage you. I'll always remember WMG for his intellect, razor sharp business acumen, the intentional manner with which he would really listen to the conversation, before choosing his measured words in response, his humility in learning first, his ability to translate his knowledge to those of us who were still catching up and that beautiful penmanship whether on a white board or on his famous grid notebooks.
I am fortunate to have crossed paths with you at Kenshoo, WMG. You will be dearly missed.
My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.

Deeply saddened to hear of Will's passing today. My deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to Will's family. Will and I worked together for a short period of time at Blue Shield during the creation and launch of Virtual Blue. His warmth, desire for excellence and focus on the needs of members/patients stood out to me in our interactions.
He will be deeply missed.

I can’t find words to express my grief and sorrow on the passing of a kind, gentle, wicked-smart and funny human being. His voice still in my ears. Recent text messages (now) amplify his courage and optimism he had till the end. We met at Kenshoo and worked together from 2012-2020. What got us closer as friends were two annual dates: March 7 and June 7 that made us both laugh with joy, and regular exchanges of text messages sprinkled each month.
To the family: I am so very sorry for your loss. I offer condolences on behalf of everyone who knew Will and from my family.
Our world has lost a kind soul. Rest in peace WMG. Expect my messages on the 7th of Mar and June every year for our ritual must continue.
You will always be remembered and admired.

I was so saddened to hear of Will's passing. Will was my formal mentor this year at BSC. I feel blessed that I was able to learn from him and get to know him better. He was always there to listen

I was fortunate to have Will as my boss at Blue Shield. He was always so kind, focused, and committed to doing what is right for our team, members, and company. He always pushed us to do more and to do it in a way where we could all be proud of the outcomes.
He always put family first and made work a safe place to juggle parenthood and our jobs. His love for his family was always front and center in our discussions and in large employee meetings. Will was so proud of how his boys navigated the world, and of course, their swimming and skiing adventures. Will also always shared stories about Lindsay and what a rockstar she is.
I will miss Will tremendously and I will always remember and think about him.

I was so sadden to hear news of Will's passing today. Will and I worked together the last few years at Blue Shield - most recently bonding this summer when he came back to work for a stint over UCSF neurological care. Will was often frustrated with my team - never personalizing and always wanted to better understand and be part of solutions creating change and making it better. He was such a sweetheart- always up for a laugh and had such a kind warmth.
Sending love to your family Will - you are already missed!
