I met Wil when I was a guest in his home when driving from Maine to Minnesota. A gracious host along with Edie, he welcomed me warmly.

My condolences to his family and friends. Prayers for all.
To Wil's family: As you know, your husband, father, grandfather, and father-in-law was a special person. He found Book'em when he was looking for a place to volunteer in the Nashville area and I'm forever grateful. I have wonderful memories of sitting (or standing) in our book room and talking with him about anything and everything (nearly every week) - especially his family and me asking for business advice as I tried to navigate some challenging times for our small nonprofit organization. He was always willing to listen and offer words of wisdom and a chuckle when I needed that too. He was so proud of all of you! Wil was part of our team for many years. He made a tremendous difference for Book'em. He was responsible for making thousands of local children and teens proud book owners because of his volunteer work. Thank you for sharing this incredible person with us. You are in my thoughts and prayers. - Melissa Spradlin, Executive Director, Book'em
