As many of you friends and family know by now we have lost our beloved West.
He passed away from a heart attack on the early morning of June 25, 2024.
It was a shock to say the least. He was home and I was with him.
As I struggle to navigate my future, I am humbled and so so overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support you’ve shown me.
I very much find comfort in reading all the stories and posts about him.
Please keep them coming.
West loved Ventura and would be so proud to know he left his mark.
My mom taught me to always look for the helpers. I was lucky enough to marry one and share almost 25 beautiful years with West.
My memories will forever be a blessing.

Our beloved West Cooke passed away on June 25, 2024. He was 54 years old.

West was an adoring husband, protective brother, devoted son, dear friend, and talented chef. West was a true Renaissance man, with many talents and wide interests. He was curious, creative, hard working, and a dreamer. He was constantly striving to be a better man.
