Wesley (Wes) Russell, age 51, of Albany, KY, passed away on August 24, 2024. Born on October 22, 1972, he was the beloved son of the late Gary and Luann (Roberts) Russell.

Wes is survived by his children, daughter Taylor Richard and son Logan Russell. He is also survived by his brother, Darren Russell; sister-in-law, Connie Jackson; nieces, Ashton (Brandon) Walden, Shelby (Dre) Russell, and Sydney Jackson-Duty; nephew, Shawn Jackson; and many other cherished family members and dear friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Wes was preceded in death by his brother, Marty Jackson.

Wes was known for his kindness, generosity, and support of those around him. Always willing to lend a helping hand, he valued family, friendships, and community above all. He lived with humility and compassion, often placing the needs of others before his own.

Wes found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He had a deep love for playing music and found peace working in his garden. His faith was a guiding light. Church played an important role in his life, where he found a deep sense of peace, purpose, and connection to God. He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his dedication to his loved ones, and the lasting impact he made on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
