The Panhandle Prairie Sharks would always hook up with Wes when we would go to Frisco for Buffett. There were always toasts and hugs all around!
I hate to hear about this. Wes and I were friends from childhood. He lived around the block from my grandparents. We spent many hours terrorizing the neighborhood and exploring the canyons outside of town. Unfortunately, like a lot of childhood friends, after high school, adult life took us separate ways. I haven’t been in contact with him since his dad passed away many years ago. I spent a lot of times at his house as a boy and always enjoyed being around his family. Connie and Traci I am so sorry for your loss. I have many wonderful and treasured memories of growing up with Wes. From what I’ve read here, he held on to his amazing sense of humor and adventure. Everyone should have a boyhood friend like him.

One of several pics we have with Wes. This is a pic of Wes and Rick Kingery. Loved seeing him every year. Great fun loving guy. You will be missed, Wes.

You and I have been friends for so many years. When we were in school, especially grade school age, we were almost always hanging around each other. The whole gang would gather at the park in our neighborhood. My deepest condolences to his family. Sail on dear friend!

Wes had such a magnetic personality. When I first met him 15 years ago at a Jimmy Buffett concert, I felt like I had know him all my life. He will be sadly missed by all of his friends from the Lone Star Parrot Head Club. Sail on my friend......
