Wendy Ann Christian Whitney passed peacefully in her sleep on May 24, 2025. She is predeceased by her parents, Huey and Geraldine Whitney. She leaves behind her three children, their spouses and grandchildren: Elizabeth (Sarah) Avant, and children: Jackson (Payge) Esposito, Aidan Hill and Avery Hill; Matthew (Katie) Avant; Nathan (Abigail) Avant and sons Solomon and Maclen. Her sisters, Jessica and Melissa and their families, shall miss her as well. Mary Laporte Delaune was Wendy's lifelong friend, and shall surely miss her.

Wendy loved Jesus, above all else. She loved the beach, traveling the world, and being surrounded by people she loved.

Donations to a local womens shelter or food bank would honor her memory.

The family thanks the staff of The Oaks of Brevard for caring for Wendy in her final days.
