Wendy's obituary
On December 10,2024 Heaven welcomed another Christmas Angel. Wendy (Dorsey) Held, 71, of Delaware, Ohio, passed away peacefully in Hospice Care at her home surrounded by family. Born to Oren and Juanita Dorsey, December 8, 1953
Wendy leaves behind her family, Her husband Bob Held of Delaware, and her son Cory Held of Cincinnati, her brothers, David Dorsey and Tom Dorsey; her sister Rebecca Dorsey; and many nieces and nephews.
Wendy was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Linda Ramsey, and Connie Butler.
Wendy was a devoted wife and mother, as well as a kind and compassionate person who loved to antique and listen to music. She was always willing to help others and was a source of strength and support for her family and friends.
On a personal note, Cory and Bob would like to express heartfelt gratitude for all of the help and support provided by Friends, other family members and Tranquility Hospice during this difficult time. Knowing we could count on you helped us get through this. We don't know what we would have done without you and it meant so very much to us!
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. In the interim the family requests that donations be made to The American Cancer Society.
Wendy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her!
