It is with sorrow that we announce the passing of Wendell Mann, who departed this world on July 17, 2023. Born on October 15, 1929, Wendell lived an accomplished and fulfilling life, leaving an indelible footprint on the hearts of everyone he knew.

Wendell was predeceased by his devoted wife, Florence K. Mann, who was his rock during their time together. He was also predeceased by his siblings; James Mann, Karl Mann, Hazel Mann, Shirly Mann, and Carla Mann, as well as his sister-in-law, Frieda Mann. He felt their loss deeply, but their memories continued to fortify him throughout his life. He also mourned the untimely passing of his grandson, Alvin Wendell Mann, who held a special place in his heart.

The legacy of Wendell continues to live on through his two children, Vanessa Mann and Michael C. Mann, Sr. His wisdom, love, and values are also passed on to his son, Everett C. Mann. His niece, Gilda Ivy, and his nephew, James A. Mann, fondly remember their time with their uncle Wendell and will cherish those precious moments forever.

Wendell found immense joy in his grandchildren. He was a beacon of wisdom and love for Hung Van Mung, Christopher Mann, Theresa Mann, Caiden Mann, Nichlas Mann, and Michael C. Mann, Jr. Memories of their grandpa’s warmth and wisdom will guide them through their lives.

Wendell was a man of great character who touched many lives. His departure leaves a void that is impossible to fill. As we mourn the loss of a man of such stature, we find comfort in the beautiful memories that he has left us with.
