It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Mr. Wendal Creeson on June 24, 2023. Born in 1946, Wendal left an indelible mark through his kindness, gentle spirit, and dedication to family.
Wendal was a proud graduate of Tennessee High School, class of 1963. That very same year, he committed himself to serve his country by joining the Army. He honorably discharged in 1966, after three fruitful years of service. Wendal continued his educational journey at Clayton Junior College, Lake, Georgia, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in 1974.
In 1976, Wendal married his beloved wife, Beverly Creeson. Their loving union set the foundations for a family that would grow to become one of Wendal's greatest pride and joy. After an illustrious career at Gates Rubber Company, Wendal decided to retire in 2006, allowing him more time to nurture, guide, and inspire his family.
Wendal was a man of practical wisdom, sharing valuable lessons in drawing and masonry work with those around him. His legacy of kindness leaves a lasting impression and inspires the lives of many. His greatest accomplishments are indeed his family and friends, who will always remember him for the love and warmth he radiated.
Wendal is survived by his children Barbie Shythe, Michelle Ness, and Michael Creeson. He leaves behind a rich legacy in his grandchildren Dominique Shepley, Candice Wells, Jackson Ness, and Natalie Creeson, who will undoubtedly continue his legacy of kindness and love for others.
Mr. Wendal Creeson's life was a testament to his gentle spirit and innate kindness. His lessons, love, and legacy will forever be cherished in the hearts of those he touched. He will be missed by all.
