Wells Gorman began his life in West Virginia, and he always lit up when he recalled his adventurous childhood to family and friends. Wells and his lovely wife, Martha, met in high school and married not long after graduation. Throughout his schooling, Wells enjoyed athletics and was a stellar athlete.
Wells enlisted in the Navy during WWII, and was sent overseas not long after their first child, Kyle Richard "Rich" was born. After the war, …
