To the Watt family, Weldon will always be a hero.
How appropriate that he danced with his daughter at our childrens’ wedding to The Way You Look Tonight. He looked proud and delighted to be surrounded by his beautiful family. That is how he will always be remembered by us.
Our love and deep sympathy to all of his children.
Marjorie, Doug and our family

First of all, I am absolutely stunned by the news of Weldon's passing. He was a customer, but far more important he was a friend. I invited him to the BIFMA Conference in Estero a few years back during the Friday night casual event. We took a group photo with several of the "old gang". It was great fun!

Afterward, John Walton and I had dinner with Weldon. It was wonderful!

M. Weldon Rogers III was an important and very colorful character in our industry. His enthusiasm was contagious! He gave us far more than he received.

He passed far too soon. and I will miss him

Dear Sandy, Didi, Caroline and Sandy, we know your dad’s passing leaves an unfillable void in your lives. Your dad was so nurturing, affirming, passionate, hard-working and energetic. He sure did love and speak highly of each one of you, always so delighted with his family. And he was so concerned and supportive of our young family as well, back in the Eck-Adams years. He treated us as his own and provided many years of wonderful opportunities for us. Some of our most cherished memories took place in the charming Boca Grande home he encouraged us to use for several vacations and our adult children still fondly recall those memories. We also celebrated our 20th Anniversary there with friends, and cherish those wonderful moments, thanks to your Dad. Weldon was as generous as he was kind and touched so, so many lives. May his amazing legacy live on through you all and your family. We offer you our support, love and prayers as you keep him in your hearts and carry him with you through these difficult days. God bless and keep you all. ❤️
I always enjoyed running into Weldon as he loved talking about my grandfather who was his boss at his very first job at Morgan Guarantee. My grandfather didn't really care for most people but he liked Weldon instantly. He saw greatness in Weldon with his sharp mind and spark and zest for life and became his mentor for years. I was lucky enough to have had dinner with Weldon a week before his passing. He was in great spirits, regaling the table with his stories and having us all in hysterics. It is comforting to know that he was very happy to the end and was so loved by so many. He leaves a huge hole in the heart of this community.
The handsomest man I ever knew. I asked him to be my date to my senior prom at MI. Saw him later in NYC & then more recently in Boca Grande. Weldon was a sweet, caring man and I am so glad I called him this past June when I heard he was so sick. He was very upbeat even then. RIP Weldon.
I work at Suncoast Humane Society and had the pleasure of meeting Weldon Rogers a few times. Most recently when he came in to look at our adoptable dogs. From that very brief encounter, I knew Weldon was a special individual. We emailed back and forth after that, me just checking on his health, since we discussed how that would affect his desire to get a dog. I felt his gentle spirit and humanity. We are sad for his passing and celebrate his life and his love for animals.
