Jacalyn Schulze I met Wayne, Gloria and family at Peace Lutheran in summer of 1984; my first visit, an outdoor worship service. They greeted me warmly with outstretched hand of friendship, inviting me in. One of Wayne's many gifts was his ability to "be present", maintain eye contact and assure you he cared. His gracious generosity, known and unknown, reflected his deep faith in action. Wayne, you were a good and faithful servant of your Savior, Jesus Christ. I will miss you, Friend, and am assured we'll meet again! September 26, 2020
He was a great person to know since he sure knew how to network! Loved to hear about all his ongoing and past projects at home. Wayne will be sorely missed!
Wayne and Gloria were always great to be around but I remember at Aunt Tillie funeral we were riding in the car with them, going to the cemetery,( right behind the casket). It was so sad and I was about 7. Wayne asked whoever was driving to put on the radio, and to this day I remember the songs....One was Teen Angel and the other Volare. Every time I hear these songs I think of both of them. Wayne you have left a wonderful legacy. God must have been smiling when He welcomed you home....May you rest in Peace. Prayers to Gloria and your family, but you have left them with such great memories, you will live on in their hearts
Love to all of you. Roberta Pitschka Dodson Bob and Helen's daughter....
